By leading the development and financing of multimodal power generation systems, including microgrid and distributed energy resource (DER) systems, waste to energy development, and sustainable power fuel, Irene’s work integrates both conventional and renewable energy, storage, and smart technologies to strengthen grid resilience, mitigate vulnerabilities, and address the dual challenges of climate events and cyber threats.
